hw + friends + fun. life.

Its amazing how things in life can be going so amazing. It's week 4 at school and everyday is absolutely jam packed and busy as hell. Along with the hard work, of course I've been partying like a rockstar that I am. hahaha.

Today I went to Union Station with Daniel for a photoshoot. Such a tiring morning... ahhhh then as soon as I got home from Union Station, my friend nipps wanted me to come to her house earlier than I was planning to for the Lakers game. (hoo-RAH!) So I went to drop off my holga film that I shot with. Then headed to nipps' place. We went for a beer run, ordered pizza, and picked up some snacks. Went back home and waited for Joe and the rest of the gang to come over. We watched the game and i fell asleep after half time. haha i guess my morning was more tiring than I had thought. As soon as I woke up, I was gonna get ready to head home..... but Nipps dragged me out cus I guess she made plans for her and I to hang out with the boys in Hollywood. We played rockband, drank beer, took shots, played games, blah blah. Nipps got butt drunk, so I drove her home. And now here I am still working on my homework for editorial class tomorrow. I guess I'm pulling an all nighter tonight. fml.

Here's some pics from the summer so far:

Hi, meet my new lover. Her name is Holga.

So I was assigned this new project and I really wanted an Holga to work with for this topic. So I drove my ass and got one! yay... I've been wanting to get one for a while now, but never came across the time to get one.

My new toy:

What kind of effects does it make, you say?
Like this:

...but it only turns out hella snazzy and tight if you know how to work it. buahaha... sucker.

Today, I was at Union Station for god knows how long. I had three different types of camera around my neck and ready to shoot. The process for this project is pretty intense. I've been spending a lot of money and time for it and it's only been week 3. wow.

It was interesting to see and meet different types of personalities and types of people while I was there. French men, police officer, bum, a security patrol guy... you name it. They were all really friendly and interesting. Thanks to my wonderful friend, nipps who came with me to shoot a couple frames her self. The only down fall was that we weren't allowed to shoot on the platform, but oh well... I shot a couple frames secretly anyways. haha

Finally ate my first meal of the day at 7pm. dead tired and pooped. I got home painted my nails. I was gonna make an appointment with Kev (my manicurist) but they were closed by the time I got home and I definately don't have any time this weekend. boo hoo. So I painted them black. yay. I should start on my editorial hw but I'm major lagging it.

Can't wait for tomorrow! Friday night! yay! wahoo!

On another note:
Thank god, the Lakers won last night. PAT on the back boys!

i'm out, peas.

new term, new perspectives, new thoughts.

school started.
i took a semester off.
now im back.
intense classes.
surprisingly,
i missed it.
week 2, already pulled 2 all nighters.
too much going on.
wrong timing.
noticing the better in some
people,
and noticing the bad that i dont want to notice
in some.
reaching limits.
masks are always worn.
as well as helmets,
cus life's tough.
i dont know why,
but i dont like being in
glendale as much.
i wanna go to irvine this weekend.
today was a busy day.
went to museum of neon art
and union station.
pictures will be up soon.
i noticed something very important today.
ups and downs, pros and cons.
true colors from the unexpected.
expect the unexpected.
life is weird that way.
that's why its that much harder to trust people.
weird.
this is entry non sense to most.
ask if i care,
cus i dont.

cherish the diamonds you have in your life, before they're gone.

i just recently found out that the father of this family friend that my family and i've known for years has cancer. he didn't even know that he had cancer until he went to the hospital for just a physical checkup. turns out that he was in his last stage of cancer and there's nothing that the doctors could do to help him. wow. how painful is that.
please keep him in your prayers.

it just made me reflect back on how grateful i am to still have both of my parents alive and healthy. i really don't know what i'd do with out them. like i've said before in my previous entries, i'm so so so grateful to have open and honest relationships with my parents. they're my diamonds.
